Here we are in North Carolina with Jody in 2015. Jim and I were married that year, and our honeymoon consisted of a road trip from Brewster, NY through the Blue Ridge Mountains to visit assorted folks in the South. Jody was living and working in North Carolina then. We grabbed Jody and spent the day at Chimney Rock State Park. I’m searching for the photo I have somewhere of Jody in a rocking chair at Chimney Rock. We were all happy and exhausted at the close of the day. A good day was had by all. We were just talking to Jody in August 2025 about the possibility of a 10-year anniversary road trip to include grabbing him in Georgia. He had just started his new job. God had other plans.
